Highlight Smuggler Stash

This mod adds a light blue highlight in the tile beneath hidden item cache generated by the Smuggler Contact and Smuggler Ringleader OCIs. The highlight disappears when the cache is collected.

The goal is to make it less hard on the eyes to spot, without having it break immersion or contradict the developers intended implementation (like adding a specific quest marker to it).

The mod leaves cache rewards, spawn locations, fog of war, and other pickups alone.

REQUIREMENTS

- MelonLoader

- MENACE Modpack Loader

The Menace Mod Manager can set up the loaders and install the mod:

https://github.com/antistrategie/MenaceModkit/releases

Modpack Loader Nexus page:

https://www.nexusmods.com/menace/mods/56

INSTALLATION

1. Download the ZIP from the Files tab. Do not unpack it for Mod Manager installation.

2. Add the ZIP to Menace Mod Manager, enable Smuggler Stash Marker, and launch MENACE.

3. Install Smuggler Contact or Smuggler Ringleader in game and start a tactical mission. The cache tile will have an objective-style highlight.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If a cache does not receive a marker, include your MENACE version and the lines containing "Smuggler Stash Marker", "OCI item-cache spawn", and "Smuggler stash objective marker applied" from MENACE/MelonLoader/Latest.log in your report.
