This mod is meant for a strong PC with plenty of VRAM. It turns off the game's texture streaming, locks every LOD group onto the highest mesh, and ships sharper maps for some NPCs. The store, staff, shoppers, and products (apples, meat, shelves, the lot) stay on the full maps and high-poly meshes instead of the blurry/simple versions Unity shows at a distance.

If your machine is mid-range or the game already dips, do not install this. It will use a lot of video memory. The zip is large (about 300 MB) because of the PNG maps. There is no magic that invents extra detail on a tiny apple: a 512px apple is still a 512px apple. The point is to stop the engine drawing a 32px mip of it.

What it fixes

  Not every person in the store is upscaled yet. The pack currently includes:

  • []All business body maps (business01 through business07)[/]

    []Casual shoppers 01 through 07[/]

    []Two cashier bodies (sportive01_f_20Cashier, sportive02_f_35Cashier)[/]

    []Hair for business01_f_30, business04_f_25, and business05_f_20[/]

    []Female blue STAFF overlay, both unloader overlays, both baker overlays[/]

  Everyone else still uses the original map, just shown at full resolution, so some NPCs will look sharper than others. More maps can be added later without replacing the DLL: drop a PNG named after the original texture into BepInEx\plugins\MegaClarity\replacements and restart.

  The original game files are not edited. The swap happens at runtime.

  Requirements

  Tobey's BepInEx Pack

  A high-end GPU and 8 GB+ VRAM is the realistic bar. More is better once the extra NPC maps are loaded.

  Install

  Install Tobey's BepInEx Pack first.

  Open your Megastore Simulator folder (Steam: right-click the game → Manage → Browse local files). You should already see a BepInEx folder there.

  Unzip this file into that same game folder. The zip opens on a BepInEx folder. Let it merge with the one you already have. If Windows asks to replace files, say yes.

  Optional: F1 (Configuration Manager) if you need to turn a piece off. DisableTextureStreaming is the heavy one. ForceHighestLod is the mesh one. ReplaceTextures is the NPC maps.

  Does not change MegaHours, MegaBoard, MegaReputation, MegaDisplay, or Additional Products. Stacks with them.
