Some grocery shoppers spawn with a shopping Trolley they push in front of them. Those shoppers get a shopping list up to three times the vanilla size (count and budget). Extra-product categories such as posters, toys, and clothes are capped at two items each so a cart does not fill with one aisle. Other grocery shoppers carry a metal hand basket instead of the vanilla brown bag, then switch to the brown bag after they pay. Vending and bazaar customers are left alone.

Picked items sit in the cart. Items picked into a hand basket disappear the same way they do into the vanilla bag. The vanilla handbag is hidden while they shop. Shoppers hold the cart handle with both hands, the same way restockers and unloaders hold a trolley. On escalators they turn to the side and the trolley turns with them. At shelves and tills the trolley parks beside them, parallel to the fixture. At a staffed till or a self-checkout, only as many items as the belt can hold go down at once. The rest wait in the trolley and unload into free slots as staff (or the shopper at a self-checkout) scan. When the trolley or hand basket is empty, it disappears. After they pay they walk out with a shopping bag like other customers.

Trolley chance (default 20%), the list multiplier, the per-group cap, and hand-basket pose are in F1 under MegaCart. Cart → Enabled and Basket → Enabled can each be turned off to restore vanilla for that feature.

Install

Unzip into the Megastore Simulator folder (zip opens on BepInEx). You should see MegaCart.dll plus a MegaCart folder with shopping_cart.glb, shopping_metal_basket.glb, and CREDIT.txt.
