I can't test this mod unless someone else installs it. So there may be some trial and error at first unless I'm lucky and it works the first time.

Press Home in-game for a leaderboard of today's profit, with a Last 7 days tab. Your row uses the same total-profit number as the vanilla end-of-day report.

LIVE INTERNET PING — OFF BY DEFAULT

The window works with no internet. Until you turn live ping on it just shows your own store.

Joining takes one button. Press Home and there is a Join the live board button next to the tabs. It opens a panel that lists exactly what gets sent, lets you type the name other players will see, and starts posting only when you press the button. The same button turns it back off. You do not need Configuration Manager or any config file editing to join or leave.

When it is on, this mod sends a small ping over the internet when your day ends, at the same moment the end-of-day report appears. That is the game's own end of day, so it works whatever hours you play and whether or not you use a mod that changes day length. It sends:

  Your real store name is never sent. Whatever you called your shop in the save stays in the save. The board only ever shows the separate name you type into the join panel, which starts as "My Store". That is deliberate: people put their own name, a nickname, or an inside joke in their save, and none of that belongs on a public list. Pick something you are happy for strangers to read, and do not put your real name, Steam name, or email in it.

  Rude names are refused. The board checks the name before it accepts a score and turns away swearing, slurs and sexual terms, including the usual tricks like swapping letters for numbers. If a name gets refused, the mod tells you in the board window and your score does not post until you change it. No filter catches everything, so anything offensive that does slip through gets removed and I may block that store from the board.

  It does not send your Steam account, save file, product list, or email.

  The board runs on Cloudflare Workers at megaboard.wyldegirluk.workers.dev. It keeps only the five things listed above plus the time you last posted. It does not store IP addresses. Cloudflare itself can see connecting IPs at the network level, the same as visiting any website. That is why live ping stays off until you choose it.

  Stores drop off the Today board a day after they last posted, and off the 7 day board after eight days, so the list stays current. A store that has not played for 45 days is deleted.

  Your row is yours. The mod keeps a private token in your config and the board refuses any score posted for your store without it, so nobody can put a fake number under your name.

  This is an honour board. The game reports its own profit, so a determined person can still post a made-up number for their own store. It is not a serious contest.

  Tobey's BepInEx Pack

  Install

  Install Tobey's BepInEx Pack first.

  Open your Megastore Simulator folder (Steam: right-click the game → Manage → Browse local files). You should already see a BepInEx folder there.

  Unzip this file into that same game folder. The zip opens on a BepInEx folder. Let it merge with the one you already have. If Windows asks to replace files, say yes.

  Press Home. F1 (Configuration Manager) to rename your store, switch to 40 rows, or turn live ping on.

  Privacy

  Opt-in only. No account. Do not put personal information in StoreName. Turning Live → Enabled back off stops all pings immediately. Deleting BepInEx\config\com.catherine.megaboard.cfg drops your anonymous id and token, and your old row then ages off the board on its own. If you would rather I delete your row now, post on this mod page with the store name you used and I will remove it.
