Mercantile Mercenaries

As seen on, and developed during, w4stedspace's "True Mercs" co-op campaign with Captain Shack, Avisern, and me; finally available for public consumption in a mostly-complete state...

Aims to create a more varied and immersive co-op experience by giving each player in a co-op game their own (abstracted) C-Bill funds, and the ability to spend and transfer those funds as they like.

C-Bills earned are split between connected co-op players, with a configurable percentage being taken as "Company" funds.

Features

[]Allows up to 30 C-Bill Payout negotiation points to be assigned on most contracts (except some campaign and modded missions), to support more C-Bill-focused salvaging using mods such as Purchase Salvage[/]

[]Adds a custom UI element, opened by clicking on the C-Bill display in game, that displays information about player and Company finances, and allows management of those finances.[/]

[]Allows fund transfers between players and the Company, removing funds from the transferring player's balance and adding it to the selected player or Company balance.[/]

[]Allows payments from players or the Company, removing funds from the paying player's balance or the Company balance, to pay for things (such as features and costs added by other mods) that are not automatically handled by this mod, as well as adding funds to the Company balance.[/]

[]Allows manual payouts from the Company to one or more players, to deal with any income not handled automatically.[/]

[]Automatic payout of contract, quest, and cantina C-Bill rewards to all co-op players, with the Company taking a configurable percentage of total earnings.[/]

[]Automatically deducts funds when players purchase equipment or 'Mechs, or submit a 'Mech work order (including cantina upgrades). Refunds when work orders are cancelled or items are sold. Funds are added or removed from the balance belonging to the player buying/selling/submitting, unless the "Use Company Funds" toggle is checked, in which case the Company's balance will be used.

(NOTE - using Company Funds has displayed occasional inconsistent behavior, and I have been unable to find a cause; please ensure funds are being processed correctly if using this feature!

[]Assignment and automatic deduction of 'Mech upkeep and pilot salary costs:

'Mechs and pilots can be assigned to specific players or to the Company, who will then be responsible for their upkeep. 'Mechs and pilots can be assigned by going to the Operations>Stats screen, and clicking on the "Assign" buttons. Unassigned 'Mechs or pilots will be paid for by the Company by default.[/]
