The 2. 00 major update is here! This update brings DLC7 compatibility, clan mech cockpits (Perq), an animation overhaul (psycho063), DLSS support, graphical improvements, fully supported out-of-mech VR, and a lot of polish and new features.

The 2. 10 update adds native support for flatscreen players. This includes a rework of the injected HUD rendering system to support output to a single screen, reverse engineered fixes that VR users get, FOV controls, mouse camera control, and TrackIR/OpenTrack headtracking support.

MechWarriorVR originally ran using the VR plugins shipped with MW5. Unfortunately these VR plugins were outdated, slow, buggy, and prone to crashing. The UEVR injector provides an alternate method of enabling VR in MW5 that uses OpenXR and significantly improves performance while at the same time allowing MWVR to inject custom DLLs to provide a ton of extra features and bug fixes.
