COOL YOUR JETS BRO - No Wild TTRulez Jump Jets

Description

For players who use TTRulez AI Mod 2 but do not want its jump-jet changes.

This mod repackages the current DLC8 vanilla jump-jet assets, allowing you to retain TTRulez’s AI combat behavior—including its behavior for AI-controlled ’Mechs equipped with jump jets—while restoring the jump jets themselves to current base-game performance.

This preserves DLC8’s vanilla vectored-thrust controls, equipment values, acceleration curves, heat generation, and general jump behavior.

This mod is unnecessary if you do not use TTRulez AI Mod 2. While it might help with any other mod impacting Jump Jet behavior, it was designed to restore base DLC8 Jump Jet mechanics to the game if using TTRulez AI Mod 2.

Load this mod after TTRulez so its jump-jet files take priority. By default, it's already packaged to load just behind it unless you changed TTRulez load order.

Disable other jump-jet overhauls or older vanilla jump-jet restoration packages to avoid conflicts.

--TROUBLESHOOTING--

If you are not experiencing DLC8's Vectored Jumpjets, you should locate your Input.ini and delete it. There is something that went wonky when the game went to DLC7 or DLC8 that made this necessary.

Players returning after DLC8 who received no WASD vectored thrust may need to regenerate their

Input.iniYou should be able to delete it. Just copy and paste the below into your file explorer, it'll take you to where the file is located.

Tip: Save your original imput.ini elsewhere before deleting, just in case.

Just download and put the main file into your MW5 mods folder.
