📋 About This Mod
The menus and other GUI animations across the Mass Effect Legendary Edition trilogy and launcher are animated at 30fps. Even if you have 60fps in the game, this does not mean that the animations will be played at 60fps, because they are recorded in a smaller fps rate. This mod increases the fps rate in those GUI animations that are suitable for this change, at a maximum of 60fps, wich result in a smoother UI experience.
This is the mod version for LE2, but you can find below the versions for the trilogy:
Smoother GUI (Launcher)
Smoother GUI (LE1)
Smoother GUI (LE3)
Installation:
Use the Mod Manager Download button, or drag the . 7z into the ME3Tweaks Mod Manager and install.
As this mod is now entirely mergemod, in order to avoid getting it overriden by other mods, it has to be installed the last one of the DLC mods (exceptions will be indicated in 'Compatibility' section).
Uninstallation:
This mod installs some changes directly to basegame, so you will need to restore your game to vanilla from a backup.
Compatibility:
This mod requires Unofficial LE2 Patch.
Compatible with:
Skip Minigames for LE2 - Install this mod AFTER Smoother GUI.
Partially compatible with:
HUD Enhancements LE2 - You can use them together, only issue will be that some of the UIs will not play at 60fps (mostly the three wheels). Install this mod AFTER Smoother GUI.
