📋 About This Mod
This mod makes Sheploo (Default Male Shepard) consistent with his appearance on Mass Effect 1 and 3 on Mass Effect 2. For some reason in 2 he has a painted ORANGE (Cheetoh looking) diffuse texture for both his face and scalp that does not properly tint with any outfit. This mod restores the tintable, unpainted textures from Mass Effect 1, which will make his skintone match with any outfits, both vanilla or modded (yes this will be required for that mod you are really looking for to release...). Moreover, it also restores his correct eyelashes opacity which was wrongly increased in Mass Effect 2, making them more natural and in line with his original appearance as well as of the other 2 Legendary Edition games.
This mod REQUIRES to be installed with the latest ME3Tweaks Mod Manager version by Mgamerz. 7. 0+ is REQUIRED. Make sure you let it update to the latest build after installation, in order to make sure the mod can be correctly installed. It is recommended to install over a vanilla NON textured game.
The mod is in .m3m merge format, so its installation is as simple as drag and drop the . 7z file into the Mod Manager and let it work its magic.
Use the Mod Manager to remove the mod. You will need to restore SFXGame.pcc from the Modified basegame files tab (remember that if you had other merge mods installed, you will need to reapply them as restoring this file will revert it fully back to vanilla). Savegames aren't dependent of it, so it can be mostly safely removed and/or added at any point during your game.
Known Issues
03/01/22 - Skintone vector values now match those of vanilla Mass Effect 1 and 3 on the Legendary Edition.
