Have you ever chosen a dialogue option only for Shepard to say something that doesn't even resemble what you chose?

Everyone who's played femshep even once has a horror story of accidentally flirting with Jacob.

How many of us have fallen victim to the many pitfalls in Mordins loyalty mission where you accidentally started insulting him for no reason?

Maybe you chose to tell someone "You're pathetic" only for Shepard to instead embark on a racist rant against Asari right in front of both Liara and Morinth?

Perhaps you've seen an option as cringe as "I want you Thane" right after he spills his guts about his dead wife only for the real line to be a much more reasonable "I'm here for you Thane, whatever you need"?

Or maybe a dialogue option looked way too over the top so you never chose it unaware that it was actually exactly what you wanted to say?

Well boy do I have the mod for you! (provided you play the game in English)

What it does:

-Removes paraphrasing from the dialogue prompts nearly entirely instead replacing them with the subtitles.

-Due to character limits however this wasn't always possible. In those cases shortened or mildly paraphrased versions of the subtitles were created instead for a much more accurate representation of what the dialogue you are picking is.

-I left actions like '' as they were as it felt fitting and in some cases there is no line that follows anyway.

You should never be taken by surprise when choosing a dialogue option, the words "wait I didn't know I was going to say THAT!" or "THAT's not what I wanted to say" should never again enter your mind while playing.

Why Beta?

I can practically guarantee some paraphrases still remain due to late night errors on my part, I found a couple in what I did test and I can't imagine they were all magically only in those parts of the game.

Compatibility

Compatible:

-Practically anything. Should override anything else that simply overwrites dialogue strings.

Semi-Compatible:

-Mods that add brand new dialogue strings.

There won't be technical problems, their dialogue prompts will simply still be paraphrased which will feel weird. Cut content mods are probably fine.

Incompatible:

-Optional Flirting. (looking into a patch)

-Not much. Only mods that reuse existing strings w
