Collectors Return

Collectors have emerged from dark space on low-velocity spacecraft to support the Reapers. They have been using Collectors as deadly reserves to wipe out resistance in conquered territories, but now the Reapers are directing them to hunt down their creators - the Leviathans.

The Collectors appeared to die out in Mass Effect 2, but Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer they made a surprise return, along with new lore that explained where they came from. Additionally, there are small clues in Leviathan DLC itself that suggests they were due to appear.

This mod takes the ME3MP Collectors and brings them into Leviathan DLC. They make up a blended faction of Collectors supported by certain Reaper enemy archetypes such as Brutes.

Canon Renaming

Collector Troopers and Collector Captains feel like they were named to suit multiplayer mode, so we have taken some names from Mass Effect 2 Collector enemy archetypes to make them feel more tied to that game.

Collector Troopers are now Collector Drones

Collector Captains are now Collector Guardians

A new codex entry has been written to explain the return of the Collectors using Mass Effect multiplayer lore.

FAQ:

Is this mod compatible with X?

Hard to say. The mod will be compatible with all of Expanded Galaxy Mod and LE3 Diversification Project, as well as any and all of my other mods. Any others are on a case-by-case basis, but it should be noted that few mods edit these missions.

Why are there Reaper enemies with the Collectors?

This is due to some full motion videos depicting Reaper enemies in certain missions. To keep the mod feeling immersive, I have let a small number of Reapers fight alongside the Collectors. This means that you're fighting hybrid factions in these maps, but ultimately they're both serving the Reapers.
