LE3 Shield Gate mechanic tweaks (Disabled or 100 percentage or 75 or 50 or 25 )

Now you can tweak Shield Gate mechanic to your liking. You can turn it off or change percentage of it to 25/50/75/100%.

Shield gate is enabled for enemies only in ME3. It mean that enemy shield when breaking it will block damage of last bullet, for example if enemy have very low shield then your shot not matter how strong will destroy only shield but rest of damage will not affect enemy health etc. To easy explain it for example: enemy have 2 points of shield and 90 health, you shot him with with 60 dmg, when shield gate is enabled then enemy will only lose shield, he don't lose any health but if shield gate is disabled then enemy will lose not only shield but also 58 points of health.

In ME3 Shield Gate mechanic is enabled at default for enemies at Insanity (100% absorption of dmg when shield break ), Hardcore (75% ) and Normal (50% ).

Some people may like Shield Gate because it require some thinking how to get around it in game. But some especially players using strong sniper rifles like it less.. With this mod you can tweak it as you like. There are 5 versions (mod change values on all difficulty levels ):

• []0% (disabled ) - say bye bye to shield gate

  []100% - fully enabled absorption of dmg

  []75%  (75% dmg absorbed so only 25% of your bullet strength will affect enemy )

  []50%  (50% dmg absorbed so 50% of your bullet strength will affect enemy )

• 25%  (25% dmg absorbed so 75% of your bullet strength will affect enemy )

Reasons to use this mod:

-useful to increasing difficulty level on lower difficulties

-disabling lowers difficulty level

Possible reasons why shield gate for enemies was enabled only in ME3 is maybe multiplayer or the fact that difficulty level in ME3 is noticeably lower than in ME2.

INSTALLATION (ME3Tweaks Mod Manager needed )

1. Download preferred file (only one )

2. Open ME3Tweaks Mod Manager

3. Drag downloaded file into Mod Manager

4. Apply or import the mod. If you import - click mod name on the list and then click Apply Mod at the bottom right of the window.

It work only with Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition. If you want version for Mass Effect 3 Original Edition it is HERE

COMPATIBILITY:

Mod is in DLC form so should be compatible with almost everything but there are some exceptions (another mods what modify game difficulty line - unfortunately this line is one of rare instances where is bunch stuff together than separately so if both mods modify line for game difficulty there is some conflict what can be observed in some stuff broken like medigel don't heal etc. ).
