Fever Dream

Controls: WSAD drive, Spacebar brake, F lights, V first person, G for cockpit. For a very long time, I had a EV car in mind that is small but is extremely efficient in power. I always dreamed of a car that can achieve incredible top speed with little power much like Mclaren F1. Therefore, I started to create a drawing similar to the one shown in the first image since middle school. The image here was a version I created in high school. After playing some engineering games like Besiege and Simpleplanes, I had tried to create the car I had in mind in those games. I immediately gave up on Besiege because vanilla Besiege was not very powerful and installing mods was a hassle. I tried to build it in Simpleplanes but what I saw was an abomination that is difficult to look at. At that time I realized that the image in my mind was not clear at all, and the tools I had was not good enough to help me clarify the image. That was, until I saw Main Assembly, a game with limitless power in terms of shaping your vehicles. My eyes were brighten, thinking that I can finally finish this little car I had in mind for years. But I did not build this car first. Instead, I made a ton of plane replica simply out of the curiosity of what the modeling engine can do. I even built Monaco in 1:2 scale and just finished 1:2 scale Monza replica. But it was not until I had done some design studies myself and seeing the original designs of Jerry Heartlead did that little car drove back into my mind. After seeing a lot of excellent car designs through out the years and design plenty of cars in Automation, I finally made up my mind to finish this car that I had dreamed for years. And that is the car you are looking at right now. Funny enough, this car suddenly got me emotional when I made the cockpit cap open because it was weirdly beautiful. Upon reviewing the process of creating this car, it is so much like a Fever Dream that you recover from. Hence the name. Quirks: Lower downforce than the releas
