Normalized Player Damage

OVERVIEW

This mod removes the damage buffs the player receives on the new difficulties below Legendary Stalker (previously the default).

• Butterfly's Guidance: 130% player damage  →  100%

• Awakened Puppet: 110% player damage  →  100%

• Legendary Stalker: 100% player damage  →  no change

No changes were made to enemy / boss damage dealt to the player. This mod was a request from a user who wanted the additional room for error the decreased damage received on lower difficulties provides, but without the damage dealt advantage.

An optional EX version of the mod also increases damage taken by the player on these difficulties by 10%.

Compatible with the new DLC expansion, Overture / v1. 11. 0. 0.

Fully compatible with my mods Improved Perfect Guard and Light Weight.

Partially compatible with my mod Hardcore Mode (see below).

COMPATIBILITY

This mod will conflict with anything that adjusts GameDifficultyInfo. You can technically use this with Hardcore Mode, should you desire, but note it will override the increased enemy / boss damage from that mod. Other features will work as expected, however.

INSTALLATION

• download mod from the files tab

• create a ~mods folder in your local game directory's Paks folder

- if using Steam, this path can be found by right-clicking the game and selecting "Manage" → "Browse local files"

- i.e., ".../steamapps/common/Lies of P/LiesofP/Content/Paks/~mods"

• extract the .pak file to the ~mods folder

To uninstall, simply delete the .pak file from the ~mods folder.
