This new difficulty setting is balanced by developers, the mod only enables this feature. Enemies do less damage to the player (about 2 times less), AI of enemies do not change.
How mod works:
The mod changes only one file "DefaultGame.ini". I had to pack this file into a .pak archive otherwise it didn't work.
Changes relate to two strings in this file, namely: "bEasyMode=False" to "bEasyMode=True". The second string that changes is the game version, but this is just for convenience so you can see that the mod actually replaced original ini file. "ProjectVersion=1. 2. 0. 0" to "ProjectVersion=1. 2. 0. 0 Easy Mod"
How to Install:
STEAM: Drop ~mods folder to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Lies of P\LiesofP\Content\Paks
XBOX: Drop ~mods folder to ...\XboxGames\Lies of P\Content\LiesofP\Content\Paks
How to make sure mod is working. Check game version in main menu:
