📋 About This Mod
I've updated the mod one more time, for what should be the final iteration. The 1. 3 update for this mod includes the new grindstone effects! Since I remade it using the updated game files, it's possible that the 1. 2 and 1. 3 versions don't suffer from the strange bugs that people were reporting. I still haven't tested it in-depth, so if this mod still grants you immunity to frost or makes a certain boss from the DLC nigh-immortal, leave a comment.
Now updated (again!) and (mostly) working on the Overture update! There are some bugs that people have been reporting in the posts section, so I remade the mod in an attempt to resolve those issues. I've confirmed that the 1. 2 version of the mod works as it did before, but I'm not able to test to see if the bugs are fixed right now. So, let me know how it works for you in the Posts section by leaving a comment. I wasn't able to find the properties for the new cutting and piercing grindstones, so as far as I'm aware this mod still only affects the base game grindstone buffs.
Credit to GutsBerkman who gave permission for me to modify his Perfect Guard mod to create this, and objir whose comment and image on that mod allowed me to figure out how to make this change. Also, credit to TKTaKo for providing the updated .usmap file that allowed me to fix this mod for the current version.
To install, simply drop the .pak file into your ~mods folder in Lies of P\LiesofP\Content\Paks\~mods.
If the ~mods folder doesn't exist in your Paks folder, create a new folder and name it ~mods. The "~" part is important, don't skip it.
Extends the duration of all grindstone effects to 99999999 seconds, making buffs last until death or rest, though weapon swaps or normal reset actions still remove them. For players tired of reapplying weapon buffs, this is a straightforward gameplay tweak with 168 endorsements and nearly 7k downloads.
