Mission Vao – High Quality Body & Face Replacer

A complete visual overhaul for Mission Vao in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, featuring a redesigned high-detail character model, new textures, custom clothing, portrait, and inventory artwork while preserving the recognizable look and color palette of the original character.

The goal of this mod was not to completely reinvent Mission, but to create a more detailed interpretation of her original design that fits naturally into KOTOR.

Mission's Jacket

Mission's redesigned outfit is included as its own equippable item and is automatically equipped when Mission joins the party.

The outfit was designed around Mission's background as a young slicer and street-smart adventurer rather than turning her into a heavily armored soldier. The visual design combines practical cloth, leather, and light metallic protection while retaining elements of her original KOTOR outfit.

Design Philosophy

Mission has one of the most distinctive designs among the original KOTOR companions, so I wanted the new model to still immediately read as Mission Vao.

Rather than changing the character into something completely different, I used the original model as the foundation for the redesign: the blue skin, lekku silhouette, headgear, brown accents, light clothing, and youthful facial features are all retained and reinterpreted with considerably more detail.

Installation

For the best results, install the mod before Mission is first encountered/recruited.

Compatibility

This mod uses TSLPatcher to amend Mission's existing

appearance. 2daentry instead of installing a complete replacement

appearance. 2da.

Mods that directly replace Mission's head, body, clothing models, textures, portrait, or creature template may conflict with this mod.

Uninstallation

Because the installer patches game resources and Mission's creature configuration, simply deleting individual files may not completely restore a previously modified installation. Back up your Override folder or use TSLPatcher's generated backup files if you intend to uninstall the mod.
