Dwarven Union of Grendenholm

The Union is a rather typical kingdom as far as dwarven standards are conserned, more occupied with food and drink than politics and trade, though they of course will gladly buy off any of your alchohol stock if you should visit. Unlike the other nations of this land, the dwarves have been quite capable of keeping themselves in check, never spending on projects more than needed, always paying debts on time, only deploying troops when invasions are detected, and all around knowing how to handle themselves. The only thing one might want to watch out for is their propensity for holding grudges longer than your own lifespan may allow. (6th banner in my 'Generic Fantasy' lore project.)
