Tempest Theocracy Banner

In the far southern oceans lies a kingdom run by holy men, proclaiming themselves the true followers of God's will. With none to oppose their rule, the Theocracy has an iron grip on their country, their inquisition terrorizes their people, the crusaders and paladins are morally akin to bandits, and the hospitallers withhold medcine to extort the peasantry for money. Only their offered protection against the viking threat keeps the citizens in this nation of cruel faith. (3rd banner in my 'Generic Fantasy' lore project.)
