The Naldia Narrow

Final Fantasy XVI is a beautiful game.

Say what you will about the quality of everything else,

but I think we can all come together and agree that the art direction is pretty strong.

It's very much a return to the more classic and traditional aesthetic of FF, compared to the more modern entries that preceeded it.

And while I personally prefer modern settings, XVI's world was a pleasant surprise to me.

I wouldn't say it's my all-time favorite FF world - that honor goes to FFX with Spira - but it's up there.

Anyway, that's beside the point.

What I'm saying is some of the locales in XVI really captured my attention.

One of which is the void dimension where Clive fights Typhon.

Another one is the arena in the Rising Tide DLC where you fight the Timekeeper.

(There's probably a few more I could mention, but they're not immediately on my mind, haha.)

This is also one of them; the moment in the game where you face Odin's Dominant at the bottom of the ocean.

It's an unwinnable fight, and not a location you can revisit... but it's still a really cool setting for a fight.

So I figured, why not make a data arena based off of it?

If you want to use a mod menu to teleport to this location, here's the path you need to copy-paste:

"open /Game/Maps/XVIAbyss.umap"

Installing this is as simple as placing the unzipped file in the 'Paks' folder wherever you have the game installed.
