Installation

Manual

Download using the "Manual download" option, unzip the file and put its content in:

• []Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KINGDOM HEARTS III\Content\Paks\~mods[/]

  []Epic Games: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\KINGDOM HEARTS III\Content\Paks\~mods[/]

or whichever location you chose to install your game, ending in " ...\KINGDOM HEARTS III\Content\Paks\~mods\ "

If there isn’t a folder called "~mods" in either location, create one before putting the mod in it.

Once in-game, open the KH3 Modloader by pressing F1, type "FormchangeExtender" and press ENTER to activate the mod.

Automatic

If you already setup your own mod manager (such as NexusMods' Vortex mod manager), download the mod using the "Mod manager download" option.

Steam users may need to manually setup their mod manager to indicate the game's installation folder, which by default is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KINGDOM HEARTS III

Once in-game, open the KH3 Modloader by pressing F1, type "FormchangeExtender" and press ENTER to activate the mod.

Crashes on Steam?

If your game crashes on Steam: the update which introduced Steam Deck fixes messes up with certain mods, such as the KH3 Modloader.

To fix it: delete all files ending with

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KINGDOM HEARTS III\KINGDOM HEARTS III\Content\Paks

You can always restore these files by verifying the integrity of your game files.

Content

Were you ever confused why the ability "Formchange Extender" only extends the duration of the formchange command, but not formchanges themselves? Well now it does!

With this mod, each equipped instance of "Formchange Extender" extends the duration of all formchanges by 5 seconds. The ability stacks up to 30 extra seconds, for a maximum formchange duration of 1 min!
