📋 About This Mod
An interesting concept for a data arena.
This is a very simple map.
One of the easier custom maps I've made.
And it was all based around a single mesh.
A model that some of you might recognize from Crisis Core.
In Crisis Core, there is a statue that appears in the final dungeon of the game.
Just before the final boss starts, Zack walks into a room where the antagonist Genesis stands in front of a certain statue.
A woman, holding an apple, surrounded by the wings of a goddess.
I took a look at this model, and I had a thought.
What if this was scaled up and used as the backdrop of a data arena?
The woman holding the apple could be removed, and the platform would serve as the arena,
with the surrounding wings serving as the only backdrop.
It was a simple idea. One that didn't take too long to realize.
And I think I like how it turned out.
(The original arena is a lot bigger, but the data arena has been downsized
to fit and properly contain the DMs of certain bosses like Ansem, Xemnas, and Young Xehanort.)
You'll need a mod menu to access the full map.
And the path you need to type up (or copy-paste) is "open /Game/Maps/Goddess.umap"
If you use the data arena version, though, all you need to do is trigger a data fight or select the arena in DG.
Installing this is as simple as placing the unzipped file in the 'Paks' folder wherever you have the game installed.
