Vividus Lux - Vivid Lighting Enhancements

Update: As of v1. 0. 3, the old "Run On Spawn" addon has been removed/deprecated, and this mod now requires my AutoCfg Loader mod to force the values in-game. This is not a "hard" requirement. The mod will mostly work fine without it, it is just to ensure that the game can't override the mod's values while playing. If you still have the old "Run On Spawn" file, it is recommended to uninstall it if using "AutoCfg Loader" (though not really required).

What Does This Mod Do (Main Version)?

• []Subtly adjusts some CVar params (cfg file edits) for a cleaner and sharper image.

  []Removes the slight vignette effect around the edge of the screen.

  []Removes film grain and dithering effects.

  []Adjusts contrast, brightness, and sharpening.

  []Reduces wind effect on foliage slightly (helps to clear blurred foliage).

  []Forces 16x Anisitropy for all in-game texture quality settings (only Ultra/Experimental use 16x in vanilla).

  []Made and tested with default (50%) in-game Gamma setting.

    Copy the zip contents into your KCD2 install folder. This will create a "Mods" folder if you do not already have one, or will merge the contents with your existing folder.

    • []To uninstall, delete the "VividusLux" folder from your folder.
      • []An alternate version of the mod that only disables film grain, dithering, and vignette effects is available under "Optional" files.
        • []Another alternate version that is similar to the main file, but with larger adjustments to sharpening/brightness/contrast is also available under "Optional" files.
          • []Notice: I have not personally tested installing via Vortex, but it should work.
            • []You should only install one file from this mod.

              Compatibility:

              []Most versions of the mod are not compatible with RenoDX (only the main "RenoDX Compatible" file is).

              []If installed properly, should have no conflicts with any other mods (unless they edit the same values after this mod applies them).

              []Recommended to use with a realism-focused "LUT" mod, such as Noble LUT by u/TheCyanideX (or any other that you prefer). Screenshots do not use any "LUT" mods.[/si
