What Does This Mod Do?

• []Removes 1 of the 4 directions for attacking in melee combat for both you and for NPCs to give you less to think/worry about in the moment (removes the head as a an attack target). An alternate version of the mod is available with only this change.

  []Reduces "Nourishment" (hunger) drain rate by 50% (half).

  []Doubles all XP gain.

  []Increases starting/default carry capacity from 70 to 120.

  []Prevents most NPCs from becoming hostile toward you based on reputation decreases.

  []Reduces stamina drain rate for most activities and increases recovery rate.

  []Slightly reduces NPC combat levels.

  []Increases sleep quality for all "bed" types (except the highest quality beds).

  []Other minor tweaks to similar things.

  []Affects both normal and hardcore game modes (not sure if there's any way to change that).

  Installation:

  • []Extract to main KCD2 install folder or install with Vortex. To uninstall manually, simply delete the "Softcore - Easy Mode" folder from your folder.

    Compatibility:

    • []Not compatible with any mods that change XP or Hunger rates. Will also conflict with other mods that affect anything else this mod affects. Load order can be adjusted to mitigate some conflicts (the last mod loaded will take priority for shared values, and they load numerically/alphabetically by mod folder name. There are also other ways to manage load order if you care enough to look them up).

    • Should be fully compatible with mods that edit buffs/perks/weapons/items/shops/etc, and anything else this mod doesn't affect.
      Note: This is (I guess what you'd call) a beta release. I have not played through the entire game to ensure that I didn't break anything, and have not fully tested every individual change, just the core features so far, but everything seems to be working as expected from my "alpha" tests. It's just adjusting multipliers and whatnot (other than the 3-way combat change), so there's no reason it should break anything or anything shouldn't work, but let me know if you notice anything strange.
