.PAK Crafting Guide

DESCRIPTION:

This will show you how to craft . PAK files and how to test your . LUA scripts in the game.

You need to launch KCD2 game to see how the different script testing methods look like.

This will ultimately help you to get started on creating your new awesome mod for KCD2.

TESTING:

-- Start the game, wait for 20 seconds to see all effects.

-- Open the game console and see the loading secrets.

-- Draw your weapon and check console for changes.

-- Level up running or fighting to see LEVEL UP message.

-- Press H or F4 keys in order to see new Henry remarks.

-- Implement your own changes according to the guide.

-- Run the game again and test your new modding skills.

DISCLAIMER:

For some this may be too easy while for others this may be too hard to understand.

But there are still a few things that makes this mod unique and useful for everyone.

While this mod is installed, it is your responsibility to make sure it runs correctly.

INSTALLATION:

And for those that are new to installing mods, you just place the mod in the Mods folder.

If it is your first time installing mods, you need to add Mods folder in KCD2 official folder.

So on Steam it may be: ..\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2/Mods

Then you'll need to extract the folder in the .zip archive and place it into the Mods folder.

And the .pak file can also be extracted with any archiving tool including the WinRar tool.
