📋 About This Mod
Permanently enables a (totally unnecessary) reticle for bows and crossbows. For those who prefer extra visual aid for ranged combat.
In KCD2, bows and crossbows are now centered on the screen, making aiming more natural and easier compared to the first game. While this improved positioning somewhat eliminates the need for a reticle, some players may still find additional assistance useful—whether for accessibility reasons, preference, or simply to smooth out the gameplay. This mod enables the reticle for bows and crossbows through an in-engine command.
Just place the user.cfg file in your ...\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance directory:
Unfortunately, this mod overrides the in-game option for the reticle, meaning it will be constantly displayed.
If you wish to remove the reticle and restore the in-game option’s functionality, you will need to manually edit the mod’s configuration file.
To do so, simply open the .cfg file and change the value from "1" to "0".
PS: The low resolution of my screenshots stems from being captured at 800p on the Steam Deck.
