Explorer Rework - Fog of War Edition

This mod changes the behavior of the Explorer perk to focus solely on map visibility.

Instead of revealing every Point of Interest (POI) in the game world, the perk now lifts the fog of war, unveiling the terrain but not the content. Villages, bandit camps, caves, and other hidden places will remain undiscovered until you find them yourself.

All map tooltips, question marks, and POI icons have been removed for a cleaner, more immersive exploration experience.

The world is now yours to uncover — with your own eyes.

✦ Note:

Due to technical limitations, quest markers no longer have banners with quest names. The quest text still appears, but it will now hover freely on the map without a backing graphic.

  • []The map icon for undiscovered places is not existent anymore. Whether through this mod or by any other means.

  • Tooltips of quest marker are just floating Text. The banner on which the text was written before is now a transparent .png.

    Compatibility:

    This mod is compatible with my Explorer - Overhaul mod.

    You have to be aware of the mod order. If you use both of my Explorer Mods, make sure that Explorer Rework - Fog of War Edition comes after the other mod.

    Languages:

    ALL languages that are shipped with the game. Translations were made with AI, so should there be anything strange, please let me know, so I can fix it.
