Yet Another Outlines Removal

What it does

• []Removes outlines on ZOIs and objects in the world, photomode, etc.[/]

  []Removes bright edge highlights and scanlines animation FX when building walls in construction mode.[/]

  Remove Outlines:

  KJNoOutlines - Removes outlines on ZOIs and objects.

  Remove Wall Highlights when Building Walls (Pick only one):

  KJNoCMWallHighlights - Removes bright edges and other FX when building walls.

  OR

  KJNoCMWallHighlightsLessEmissive - Removes bright edges when building walls and keeps other FX on walls, but with lower light emission.

  OR

  KJNoCMWallHighlightsTint - Removes bright edges when building walls and most other FX on walls, but  keeps the original color coding FX on walls (red and blue color for incorrect and correct wall placement respectively).

  What it does differently compared to the mod that's already on the site?

  As of 2025-05-06, that mod makes changes to Unreal Engine settings and disables custom depth buffer feature. Disabling it not only gets rid of outlines (rendered into custom depth buffer), but also might disable other effects and features that use custom depth buffer.

  My mod doesn't make changes to UE configuration and instead modifies material instances that are responsible for the outlines and highlights.

    Known Issues

    • []When installing this mod for the first time or updating it to a newer version it might not work the next time you run the game. If it happens exit the game to Desktop and run it again. You need to do it only once after updating the mod or installing it for the first time.[/]

      []After enabling/disabling this mod via in-game mod manager you have to exit the game to Desktop and run it again in order for the changes to take effect.[/]
