Audio Changes

This mod includes following packages:

KJShorterDistanceSinging - Intended to make idol careers more bearable. Implements more aggressive rate of the volume reduction relative to distance for the sounds used in following actions:

• []Singing / practicing with a microphone;[/]

  []Singing when playing guitar. It was not intended. The game uses the same files for singing with mic and when playing guitar. Can't do anything about it for now.[/]

KJLouderSpeakers - Increases distance that placeable audio speakers can reach. In vanilla game, the rate of volume reduction relative to distance for speakers is very aggressive - you can't hear them unless you're standing next to them. This package "fixes" this. The con is that now you can hear multiple speakers at once. I don't know how much of an issue that is, `cause you have to try it and see if you like it or not.

In v0. 3. 0 sound attenuation files for speakers have been modified and speakers are much louder now in vanilla game, so if you used this mod before try playing without it (please leave a comment if you think that this package isn't needed anymore).

  Known Issues

  • []When installing this mod for the first time or updating it to a newer version it might not work the next time you run the game. If it happens exit the game to Desktop and run it again. You need to do it only once after updating the mod or installing it for the first time. fixed in v0. 7.x[/]

    []After enabling/disabling this mod via in-game mod manager you have to exit the game to Desktop and run it again in order for the changes to take effect. vfixed in 0. 7.x[/]

    How to Install

    Built-in mod manager:

    • []If you used mod enabler version of this mod, delete it's files from your ~mods directory.[/]

      []Unzip to your %userprofile%/Documents/inZOI/Mods directory.[/]

      Mod Enabler:

      Copy .pak, .ucas, and .utoc files to your ~mods directory. When finished, your directory structure should look like this:
