Saddle Carry Capacity Boost (All Saddles)

This mod increases the carry capacity of all saddles by boosting weight capacity and cargo slots, including saddles that do not normally provide additional storage in the base game.

The goal of this mod is to reduce inventory friction when traveling, building, or relocating large bases, especially for players who rely heavily on mounts for logistics.

Unlike my other capacity mods, this one intentionally leans more toward the powerful / convenience side. It adds carry stats to saddles that normally don’t have them and significantly boosts existing ones. Because of this, the mod is best suited for players who want fewer restrictions and smoother resource transport.

This mod was created based on frequent community requests for expanded saddle storage across all mount types.

What This Mod Does:

Increases saddle carry weight

Adds cargo slots to saddles that don’t normally have them

Boosts existing cargo and heavy cargo slots where present

Applies consistently across all saddles

Designed for convenience-focused gameplay

What This Mod Does NOT Do:

Does not affect player movement speed or stamina

Does not modify mount speed or behavior

Does not change crafting, harvesting, or combat

Does not alter backpack stats

Important Notes:

This mod is intentionally stronger than vanilla balance

Some saddles may have very high slot counts as a result

Designed for players who prefer convenience over strict balance

Only one version of the mod should be used at a time

Safe to add or remove (changes apply when the saddle is equipped)

Compatible with most mods

Mods that also modify saddle stats may override or conflict

For best results, load this mod late / near last in your mod order

In multiplayer, all players should have the mod installed

Installation (Recommended – Icarus Mod Manager):

Download the mod

Import or enable it in Icarus Mod Manager (IMM)

Ensure it loads near the bottom of your mod list

Launch the game

Manual Installation:

Download one version of the mod

Place the .pak file in:

Icarus\Content/Paks/mods

Start the game
