Retrotale ReShade by Kohtas

This ReShade will not be for everyone, and that's ok!

I wanted to make something a little different and create a ReShade preset that made Hytale feel more retro.

Retrotale has scanlines similar to a CRT monitor/TV, warm vibrance and fun lighting.

Torches will be required for night time and delving into caves/dark areas!

The preset is NOT perfect and may require some tweaking, if you get really stuck please feel free to ask for help but be respectful of my time as it is very limited.

Installation:

• []Go to ReShade.me and download the latest ReShade program

  []Install "ReShade OpenGL" C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client 

  []Select "All Shaders"! (allows you to tweak and play with ReShade and try your own shader combos out!)

  []Drop "Retrotale.ini" file into the "Client folder"

  []Select "Retrotale" preset in ReShade "Home" menu in-game (press Home key once shaders are complied)

  [](optional) Find "PD80_02_Cinetools_LUT.fx" and change the LUT used in the drop down menu, there are plenty to play with.

• Once you're done tick "Performance Mode" in the bottom right of the ReShade window then press "Home" to close the window.
  If you have any suggestions or requests just let me know!

  Update version 1. 1: removed RetroArch shader and tuned bloom, saturation and sharpness. It should be much more clean and easy to see now. You will still need a torch in dark areas but you shouldn't be blinded by bright spots without one anymore.
