The Story

You're seeing Dark Wizards and Goblins gathering in secret all around Hogwarts, so you're convinced that Ranrok and Rookwood are planning something big... but what? Annoyingly, they're being very smart about it. They're not using any of the known bandit camps, so the Ministry sees nothing unusual happening and dismisses your concerns. But something is definitely afoot. Even the spiders and the wolves know it. They've almost completely disappeared; gone into hiding for fear of what's brewing. The conclusion seems inescapable: a Dark Rebellion is coming and only you can stop it!

Notes

This isn't actually a quest mod, sorry! It's just an extreme version of my More Enemies mods, merged with my Fewer Spiders mod (so we get more Dark Wizards) and with wolves now spawning as Goblins (so we get more of those, occasionally mixed-in with the Dark Wizards). Overall, it will deliver around eight times as many enemies as the original game. So if you venture forth from the safety of Hogwarts castle you'll encounter hostiles in large numbers. The story above is just to explain why there might be so many, why they're not in bandit camps, and why nobody is doing anything about it.

I have deliberately not merged this mod with any of my Tougher Enemies mods because, quite frankly, that would be insane!  😂 But if you want to give it a try, go for it! They're fully compatible with this mod. I just don't see how you could possibly survive! You'll need every plant and potion you can find, that's for sure!

To repeat: You do not need to merge this mod with my Fewer Spiders mod! Those changes are already included.

Please note that you will face A LOT of enemies with this mod, so you will need some pretty decent hardware!

Installation

This mod should install automatically via the "Vortex" or "Mod Manager Download" buttons.

Alternatively (or if Vortex fails) do a manual download then extract the PAK file from the ZIP file and put it in:

Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\

If the ~mods directory doesn't exist, create it.

How to Un-Install

If you installed using Vortex, hit the "Remove" button on the mod inside Vortex... BUT afterwards ALSO check the folder "Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\" to make sure there are no folders called something like "XXX-MoreEnemiesX8-TheDarkRebellion_v?_?_?" (where XXX is a three-letter prefix which depends on how m
