Hogwarts Legacy Asset Viewer

ALPHA Release - Likely to be bugs.

This mod allows you to view/summon/play blueprint actors, materials, particle effects, widgets, some static and skeletal meshes, and audio in-game.  Intended to make developing mods easier, but may also be interesting for users to spawn enemies/whatever else they want.

This mod is compatible with both BP Apparate and UE4SS mod loaders, and requires one or the other to work.

Use at your own risk.  These assets are of course not intended to be spawned this way, particularly many of the widgets.  I am not responsible for any damage to your save files.

Depending on which loader you use, do one of the following:

UE4SS:

Ensure that BPModLoaderMod is enabled in Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\Mods\mods.txt by setting:

BPModLoaderMod : 1

Extract the .pak, .utoc, and .ucas to Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\LogicMods\

BP Apparate:

Extract the .pak, .utoc, and .ucas to Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods

When in game press F8 and enter "AVInit" without quotation  marks.

You may need to reload to main menu once for the button to show up.

After installing, press the new "Asset Viewer" menu shown in the main/title menu.

Known issues

The game will autosave while in this level/viewer.  You will not be able to load one of these autosaves.

You will likely lag a bit when you first enter the world.

Opening the Actor summoning widget will lag significantly.  Your game is (probably) not frozen.  Material spawner will also lag a bit.

The button to go to the viewer will show on top of the preparing shaders screen.

Not all static/skeletal meshes show up (though many are available under the actor spawner).
