The New updated version has been uploaded to the official mod library in-game.
This mod removes the bubble effect of Protego spell. Comes in two different versions. Main version removes protego bubble from everyone and Player Only version removes the effect only from the player. You can only see the color of the enemy shield when you hit them with a spell. (I can also remove this effect completly if enough people ask for it.)
