hogsmeade optimized interiors

I noticed there was an area between Olivander's and zonkos joke shop that had fps drops. the area where the stairs is still has fps drops probably because of all the people that congregate there. However fps drops around zonkos have been dramatically reduced and the quality of zonkos interiors have dramatically improved other areas have also been improved but I only looked at one area to decide if the mod was worthwhile to upload. although sure the quality of the interior textures have also improved.

1. mod installation

2. copy mod to Phoenix/Content/Paks/~mods in the steam/steamapps/common/hogwartslegacy folder

Custom Scalability Ini Installation

1.press win r

2. type %appdata%

3. go to local

4. go to Local/Hogwarts Legacy/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor

5. paste the Scalability file into the folder

6. make sure the files readonly.

7. do the same thing with the engine.ini for ultra plus better lightning and performance if you plan to use that mod. 8. our modified engine.ini for that mod can be found in files if you want an engine.ini file that plays well with the optional scalability.ini file our mod has. the reason the modifications for engine.ini are needed is it makes the engine do more work when foliage and shadows are set to very low. you can find the engine.ini for use with ultra plus better lightning and performance in our files page. we are not affilated with ultra plus better lightning and performance. we just got the game a couple weeks ago. right now were on rookwood. in any case we missed a lot of good mods that optimized the game. the scalability ini we use is from one of the potato mods on nexus mods but we set the scalability file to only modify the settings to potato when foliage and shadows are set to low. all other settings are left alone and in fact you can set foliage or shadows to high or ultra and theyll retain their original quality. medium settings however will still be using the settings the potato mod used for medium settings.

its optional to use our custom scalability file that removes shadows and foliage. to improve performance with our scalability file we modified the ultra plus better lightning and performance engine file to remove the shadow, foliage, and ray tracing optimizations it uses. the ray tracing optimizations potentially didn't need to be removed. if you use raytracing you may want to download ultraplus. but remove the shadows and foliage settings only. or if you want to play it safe just remove the settings for foliage.  if you want to use our scalability file with ultra plus better lightning and performance you can remove the foliage and shadow settings yourself but keep raytracing.  the custom engine.ini is available in files. a user asks about compatibility with the mod. keep in mind the mod all it does is replace textures with more opt
