Hyokin's Flood Shaders

Replaces the default Halo 3 bitmaps and shaders for the Human(marine), Elite, and Brute Flood Combat forms, as well as the Infection and Carrier forms with more detailed, saturated, and a bit more gory. Visible bone is colored yellow/white, the washed-out colors are given some more saturation, and blood splats and facial details are added for more detail.

Installation:

Copy and paste "tags" into your H3EK folder and replace the appropriate files.

Make sure you've backed up the Flood character folders, listed below, before replacing them.

Currently replaces:

• []Floodcombat_Human

  []Floodcombat_Brute

  []Floodcombat_Elite

  []Floodcarrier

  []Flood_infection

  Note: Mod does not currently include any Flood Pureforms, Flood_Civilian, or Flood_ODST forms bitmap/shader changes.

  In addition, I haven't tried to add the shaders to ODST, but they should work just as they do for Halo 3.

  Planned updates:

  • []Cleaning up Floodcombat_Elite bitmaps to better quality.

    []Adding CC_map files to allow players to add color change to their Flood characters.

    []Adding variants to combat forms (Elite majors, etc.)

  • Possibly creating Flood versions of each marine and brute body to match infected targets.
