Halo Infinite Warthog (Reach)

A port of halo infinite's highly detailed warthog model for Reach. Can be used to replace the warthog in any mission, or used as a standalone vehicle. Full tags are provided as a modder's resource, as well as two (optional) test maps to download - Tip of the Spear and Forge World. Tip of the Spear has had all of the warthogs and some other empty vehicles replaced with the infinite version. Forge world features all 5 infinite warthog variants in the vehicles section of the forge menu, and has also had all the map barriers removed.

Anyone has permission to use the tags for their own mods, but please credit me!

  Tags Installation:

  • []Download the main tags .zip

    []Navigate to your HREK install - extract the tags folder from the zip into your HREK root folder. Nothing will be replaced

    []Find all the vehicle tags in "HREK\tags\objects\vehicles\human\infinite_warthog"!

    (BELOW IS OPTIONAL)

    • []If you would like AI to be able to drive the warthog, open "HREK\tags\ai\generic.character" in Foundation

      []Navigate to the Vehicle Properties block, locate the original warthog entry, and duplicate it

      []In the duplicated entry, simply change the vehicle tag reference to the infinite warthog vehicle tag, and save

      []This does NOT need to be done for the turret vehicles

      Test Maps Installation:

      • []Download the test map .zip(s) of your choice

        []Navigate to "Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\maps"

        []Make a backup of forge_halo.map if you have downloaded the forge world map, and/or m35.map if you have downloaded the Tip of the Spear map

        []Replace with the .map file(s) from the zip(s)

        []Run MCC with anti-cheat disabled and load the map/mission as normal
