Toggle Zoom Workaround

Description:

The script forces a short click of the zoom button to be read as a long press/hold.

This creates a slight delay when releasing the zoom button if you want to zoom quickly, but it doesn't lock you in zoom.

This eliminates the toggle option.

Installation instructions:

I. INSTALL AUTOHOTKEY V2

II.IN-GAME CONFIGURATION:

1. Remove the right mouse button from the Zoom/ADS function.

2. Assign the Zoom/ADS function to the P key.

3. Run the Halo_Zoom_Fix_FINAL_540ms_Pamiec.ahk file.

4. In-game, use the right mouse button normally.

- Do not run other scripts simultaneously.

- Zoom/ADS in-game must remain bound to the P key.

- If it doesn't work for you, try to increase value by shortcut below.

Main features:

- On first launch: default value is 540 ms.

- Any changes made with the shortcut are automatically saved.

- After restarting, the script loads the last saved value.

- Ctrl + Alt + Page Up: Increase by 10 ms and save

- Ctrl + Alt + Page Down: Decrease by 10 ms and save

- Ctrl + Alt + F10: Show current value

- Ctrl + Alt + F12: Close script

SETTINGS FILE

The value is saved here:

%AppData%\Halo Zoom Fix\settings.ini

To completely reset the setting to 540 ms:

1. Close the script.

2. Press Win + R.

3. Type: %AppData%\Halo Zoom Fix

4. Delete the settings.ini file.

5. Run the script again.
