These are alternatives, not a set. Install one or the other, never both. They replace the same ten files, so whichever you extract last is the one you end up with.

  []Color Corrected (Optional File) — the same face work, with the PURPLE color we all know it should have been. [/]

  Which should I take? If you just want her face fixed and nothing else touched, take the Main File. If you'd also like Cortana to be purple like the good old days, take the Color Corrected one. The face replacement is identical in both — no shot has been re-corrected or re-rendered between them (yet)

  Already running the standard version? You do not need the Color Corrected download. It is a taste option, not an update. To switch, just extract whichever you want over the top of the other — no need to uninstall first.

  Note: m01_POA-cin01_sc05_cryo is the same file in both downloads. That cinematic didn't need grading, so it is carried over unchanged.

  NEW IN VERSION 3 — coverage is now complete

  Every pre-rendered cinematic Cortana appears in has now been corrected. Version 3 adds the four that were still missing, taking the mod from six files to ten:

    Also fixed: audio is restored on m01_POA-cin01_sc01_space and m05_ACR-cin02_outro. Both ship with a silent audio track and earlier versions of this mod dropped it entirely. Nothing was ever audible either way, but these files now match the structure of the originals exactly instead of merely sounding the same.

    Upgrading from v2? The six files you already have are unchanged — only the four new ones and the two audio-restored ones differ. Just overwrite as normal.

    Known limitations below are unchanged and still apply.

    What this does

    The pre-rendered cinematics ship with a Cortana face model that differs from the concept art. This mod replaces those cinematic video files with versions where her face has been corrected to match, using AI-assisted face replacement driven by reference images derived from the official concept art.

    Nothing else is altered. Framing, timing, audio, animation, other characters and every other element of the original cinematics are untouched. (The Color Corrected download additionally applies a grade — that is the only difference between the two.)

    This is not a perfect fix. The face replacement is AI-assisted, and it does not hold in every shot. Expect some flickering, and visible artifacting in places where the correction failed to land. It is an improvement, not a flawless result — please read Known limitations before installing so you know what you are getting.
