Mark VI Master Chief Mod

Description:

In this mod, you are replacing the default Mark V models with a Halo 3 Themed Mark VI Master Chief (As seen in Halo 4 Reclaimer Mod). This replaces any skins that also use the default Mark V geometry. In this download, you have optional files included if you would also like to replace Mark IV in the bonus missions.

Installation instructions

Extract the downloaded zip file into the ~Mods folder. (Halo- Campaign Evolved\Content\Meteorite\Content\Paks\~mods)

If you do not wish to replace Mark IV, and only Mark V, then do no extract those optional files in the download. They are labeled clearly to avoid confusion. After that, it should just work!

Main features

I replaced the Mark V body model, FP hands model, FP legs Model, Mark V Shadow Mesh Model, and Mark V Shield Mesh models with Mark VI versions. I set the model up using mrgruntington's Spartan Pack. Then I adjusted the textures so that they reflect the color and grime of Master Chief in Halo 3. I also added his chest scar and other details in Photoshop.

Porting this Model to Unreal Engine 5. 5. 4 was a painful process, and it wouldn't have been possible without the help of KAT!

Known Issues with Mod: There is something wrong with the shoulder underarms where areas show black. I am not sure what's causing this at the moment. It doesn't appear in the textures or in Unreal Engine. It might be something related to the vertex groups or something. 

Hopefully the UV's don't appear distorted. I had to re- UV the character to get the textures all in one image.
