Vibrant Nova Reshade:

Half Sword is an engaging medieval combat game, but its default visuals lean heavily towards a muted, grey palette. Why they chose this aesthetic choice, I don't know, maybe to hurts your eyes? The default game color palette can sometimes make the game world feel lifeless. Vibrant Nova is a ReShade preset designed to breathe new life into Half Sword by enhancing colors and improving contrast & saturation. The result is a more vivid and immersive experience that retains the game's gritty atmosphere while making it more visually appealing.​

Installation Instructions:

• []Download ReShade:

  Visit ReShade's official website and download the latest version.​

  []Install ReShade for HalfSword:

  • []Run the ReShade installer.

    []When prompted, select the Half Sword executable (Half Sword.exe)

    []Choose the appropriate rendering API (typically DirectX 10/11/12)

    []When asked press the box at the top right two times and wait for ALL ReShade shaders to install.​

    []Unzip VibrantNova.ini

    []Place the Preset File:

    • []Copy the

      VibrantNova.ini

      file into the same directory as your Half Sword executable.​ (Typically in win64 folder inside Half Sword folder)

      []Launch the Game:

      • []Start Half Sword and Press the Home key to open the ReShade overlay.

        []Follow the tutorial if it's your first time using ReShade.

      • From the drop-down menu, press the one of the left/right arrows on the search bar looking thing and wait for it to select VibrantNova.ini

        to apply the preset.​
