Adjusting Settings

You can easily tweak or disable any feature by editing the configuration at the top of the script file. Navigate to HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\ImmersiveCombat\Scripts\main.lua, open it in any text editor, and modify the CONFIG table. If the game is running, use the UE4SS GUI console to click "Restart All Mods" and apply changes immediately.

Installation

Automatic:

1. Download the mod.

2. Extract the zip file and AutoInstall script to a folder.

3. Run AutoInstall.bat, it will automatically install UE4SS if necessary and then install the mod as well.

4. Open the game!

Manual:

1. Download the latest UE4SS experimental release.

If you're looking to create mods, download the one beginning with 'zDEV'. If you just need to download mods, you can get the (usually first) .zip file beginning with 'UE4SS'.2. Extract the contents of the zip (the ue4ss folder and dwmapi.dll) to the game's executable directory at <your game directory>\Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64.

Default path for Steam is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win643. Download this mod and extract the ImmersiveCombat folder into HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\.

4. Run the game. If the console doesn't appear, you can enable it in the section of UE4SS-settings.ini. If the console GUI is blank, change GraphicsAPI in that file to dx11.
