COMBAT LOADOUT MANAGER

Save named equipment sets and switch between them without restarting Half Sword

or leaving the combat room.

- Saves currently worn armor and held/sheathed weapons.

- Preserves supported colors, materials and equipment modules.

- Restores empty hands and weapon slots correctly.

- Carries the last successfully applied loadout into the next match and battle

setup for the active character.

- Includes a right-side panel for saving, applying, renaming and deleting sets.

- Rebindable menu, save and apply shortcuts with optional Ctrl, Alt or Shift.

REQUIREMENTS

- Half Sword Early Access on Windows. Developed and tested on Steam build 24185754.

- A compatible UE4SS installation with the standard UEHelpers module.

Development loader: UE4SS v3. 0. 1 Beta #0, Git SHA bba3a556.

- The tested ModMenu runtime is included in the download.

Half Sword Enhancer is optional. Any armor or weapon mods used in your own saved

loadouts must remain installed separately; this download contains no equipment.

INSTALLATION

1. Close the game and back up:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\HalfSwordUE5\Saved\SaveGames\GameProgress.sav

2. Install a compatible version of UE4SS if you do not already have it:

3. Open your Half Sword installation and navigate to:

HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

4. Extract both folders from the ZIP—CombatLoadoutManager and shared—into Mods.

5. Start the game, enter a room with a controllable character and press Insert.

The main script should be located at:

Mods\CombatLoadoutManager\Scripts\main.lua

- Insert: open or close the panel.

- Console fallback: `hsloadouts open` opens the panel if its shortcut is unavailable.

- F7: save your current equipment.

- F8: apply the selected loadout.

- Clicking a loadout applies it immediately.

- Open Options to rebind all three shortcuts by pressing a key or key combination.

Enter a name before saving, or leave it blank to generate a default name. Saving

an existing name and deleting a set both require confirmation.

Loadouts and keybinds are stored in this mod's Scripts folder and are not included

or overwritten by the download. Back them up before updating.

Successfully applying a loadout updates the active character's saved equipment so

it can persist into later rooms. Uninstalling the mod does not undo equipment

already written to the game save, which is why a save backup is recommended.

The mod targets the first local player; split-screen and multiplayer are not

supported. Third-party armor can use unusual pickup rules, and future Half Sword

updates may require a compatibility update. Avoid having multiple mods alter

equipment simultaneously.
