Anti-Shield - Remove enemy shields. All Sword experience.

This mod lets you remove enemy shields from different gamemodes - progression, free play and abyss.

It removes held shields and slotted shields, so knights won't be able to tank your 10000 tonne maul hypersonic trickshot anymore. I really hate shields in early access.

By default the shields are only removed in free mode but you can also remove them from progression and abyss by changing values in the config file and saving it - you don't have to restart the script. However, if the enemy has already spawned with the shield it won't remove it from their hand.

Requires UE4SS latest release to work. Just download the .zip which name begins with UE4SS and toss it to the Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64\ directory together with the .dll.

Unpack the contents of the .rar file to the Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss directory.

To change mod's settings, open config.lua in the mod's Scripts folder with a notepad and change the value.

05. 03. 2026 - fixed the bug with shields being removed from both progression and free mode if one of the corresponding values in the config file was set to 1.
