Windy City Enhanced was tested on the latest Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced version available in early June of 2025. Older and later versions may not be supported. Mod is relatively unstable and not all necessary mods from Grand Theft Auto V Legacy are compatible with Enhanced, e.g. HeapAdjuster ASI script by Dilapidated and its compatible gameconfig.xml setups. HOW TO INSTALL THE LATEST UPDATE (brief instructions)?First install the base version for either Legacy or Enhanced version of the game. Download the 2 ZIP files from the update, popzones (last post) is optional, but serves to increase pedestrian density and traffic variety. Add and replace data based on addresses labeled by folder names, e.g. mods-update-update.rpf means mods/update/update.rpf. Delete any old mod navmesh data (YNV files) found in rmp_chicago DLC (rmp_chicago.rpf) and any found in navmeshes0.rpf to navmeshes9.rpf - you may want to retain navmeshes for vehicle, though, they have unique names. NOTE that the updated data was tested on Enhanced version primarily, but may work well on Legacy as well.popzones file added to increase pedestrian density (based on setup at Del Perro Beach on original map) and increase vehicle traffic variety.
