Life Is Boring - ReShade Preset

This preset avoids cinematic color grading, dramatic contrast, and stylized effects in favor of a neutral, low-key presentation inspired by overcast days, dull weather, and everyday urban environments. The goal is not to make the game look impressive, but to make it look ordinary, like a casual photo taken without intent.

Contrast is kept soft, saturation is restrained, and highlights and shadows are treated conservatively to avoid the exaggerated look common in many presets. Subtle atmospheric depth and light texture noise help break the “clean render” feeling without drawing attention to themselves.

Life Is Boring is designed to disappear. Screenshots taken with it should feel forgettable in the best possible way, like something you’d scroll past without questioning whether it’s real.
