Ped Damage Overhaul IV (IV and VCNE)

The Ped Damage Overhaul version for GTA IV does not do as much as other PDO variants and for a good reason: GTA IV already has some of the best Euphoria and wounding mechanics of all of Rockstar's games.

In GTA IV NPCs already limp and go down without instantly dying. Yet, when down, NPCs take but a few shots to the toe before drawing their last breaths.

PDO tries to make things just a little more dramatic :)

• []When NPCs are down, they can take ten times the damage they usually would (configurable via the ini file)

  []When NPCs are on fire, they can survive seventeen times the damage they usually would (configurable via the ini file)

  What this does, is make firefights much more immersive.

  The wounded don't just bleed out within 20 seconds, but stay alive for the whole fight, if not mortally wounded.

  Some will be able to get back on their feet, some will have to wait for the ambulance.

  NPCs dragging their wounded companions to saftely will happen more often, since they stay alive for longer.

  Yet, NPCs are still able to die by headshots, missiles, grenades, etc. so immersion is not broken.

  Installation (Complete Edition Version)

  • []Download . NET Script Hook and install it.

    []Download PDO and put the contents of the zip file where your . NET scripts need to be (this should be either in the installation directory or the "plugins" folder, if you are using "FusionFix", which I highly recommend).

    []Done.

  Installation (1. 0. 7. 0 / 1. 0. 8. 0 Version)
  • []Download and install IVSDKDotNet.

    []Download and install ClonksCodingLib.

    []Download PDO and put the contents of the zip file to "%GTA IV Installation Directory%/IVSDKDotNet/scripts/".

    []Done.
