DualSense Features for GTA IV

## Description

Experience Liberty City like never before! This mod brings full PlayStation 5 DualSense controller support to Grand Theft Auto IV, featuring incredibly immersive Adaptive Triggers, Lightbar, and haptic feedback.

## Installation Instructions

There are two methods, one without Fusion Fix and one with it, and I always prefer Fusion Fix.

### Method 1: Without Fusion Fix (Not Recommended)

1. Download all of these and place them directly in the main game folder:

ScriptHook Dot Net (v1. 7. 1. 7b)

GTAIV_Complete_Edition_Fix_0_4 (Mandatory for the Complete Edition to make scripts work)

IVAsiLoader (or any compatible ASI loader)

2. Place the `GTA_IV_DualSense.asi` and audio files directly in the game's main folder.

### Method 2: With Fusion Fix (Preferred Method)

1. Download ScriptHook Dot Net (v1. 7. 1. 7b) and put it in the game's main folder.

2. Download GTAIV_Complete_Edition_Fix_0_4 (Mandatory for the Complete Edition to make scripts work) and put it in the `plugins` folder.

3. Place the `GTA_IV_DualSense.asi` and audio files in the `plugins` folder.

(Of course, without forgetting the Fusion Fix mod)

> 💡 You can open the mod menu by pressing F5.

## Very Important

The mod works directly via cable and wireless and is supported directly with the game without the need for DSX with  cable.

If you want to use a wireless controller with haptic feedback, you must use the paid version of DSX on Steam.

Real Haptic Feedback: Officially supported, working with vehicle engines, weapons, and when swimming, falling, or crashing.

Adaptive Triggers: Now work better and are perfectly compatible with car and vehicle gears.

Dynamic Lightbar & Player LEDs: Activate based on health, police chase, engine RPM, or combat.

## Requirements

To use this mod, you must have the following installed:

Make sure you have the ViGEmBus driver installed.

### Compatibility Note

This mod was built and fully tested on GTA IV Complete Edition (Version 1. 2. 0. 43). It has not been tested on older versions (like 1. 0. 7. 0 or 1. 0. 4. 0) yet.

## Shout Outs & Tips

The mod automatically detects when you are using a DualSense controller.

* If you encounter lag or bugs, you can enable the "Logging" feature from the Mod Menu to help trace issues. Logging is disabled by default for better performance.
