In case your mod not working as a standalone mod

Until I can identify and fix the issue preventing the mod from working as a standalone mod, please use the following workaround:

  Download and extract the version of the mod you want.

  []Once the files have been extracted, copy the entire Riftpetpatch folder into your Grim Dawn mods folder THEN copy Riftpetpatch.arz or any name to your Grim Dawn mods folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\mods). [/]

  []Rename Riftpetpatch.arz to database.arz[/]

  []

  Steam Library → Right-click Grim Dawn → Properties → Launch Options

  []

  Add launch parameter:  /basemods

  [/]

  []

  You can now continue playing the latest version of the mod with your existing character.

  Description

  I made a small personal merge of Riftwalk (0. 1s cooldown) by MagicalYu and the Pet Patch v2. 07 by Avalonica because I wanted to use both mods together. I did not create any new content or claim ownership of either mod. I only combined their .dbr records for my own use.

  If either MagicalYu or Avalonica is not comfortable with this merge being shared, please let me know. I will remove the mod immediately without any argument.

  Installation

  Method A: Main Game Mode (Recommended)

  1. Place in the game's mods folder:

  Full path (adjust for your Steam install location):

  Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\mods\RiftPetpatch.arz

  Rename RiftPetpatch.arz to database.arz

  Or Riftpetpatchmore.arz to database.arz

  ( extract mod, copy baul.arc in folder resources of mod into folder resources of Grimdawn if you use Riftpetpatchmoreagainfinal.

  3. Steam Library → Right-click Grim Dawn → Properties → Launch Options

  4. Add launch parameter:

  Method B: Custom Game Mode

  1. Copy the Riftpetpatch folder to the mods directory:

  Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\mods\Riftpetpatch\database\RiftPetpatch.arz

  ( extract mod, copy baul.arc in folder resources of mod into folder resources of Grimdawn if you use Riftpetpatchmoreagainfinal.

  2. Launch game → Main Menu → Custom Game → Enable MOD in MOD options

  3. Create a Custom Game character to use

  - Main Game Mode:

  Delete mods\database.arz file

  Remove /basemods from Steam Launch Options

  Restart game to restore vanilla Evade

  - Custom Game Mode:

  Uncheck MOD in MOD options

  * Or delete the mods folder
