Red Blacksmith

Description

This mod ensures you don't miss crafting materials for purple-tier gear.

Similar mods have been made before, but simply adding a letter doesn't highlight the item with color, so I decided to use the Rainbow Filter approach.

All crafting materials—whether on the ground or in your inventory—are now colored red.

Installation instructions

To install the filter, download the archive for the English version.

Example for Steam (English version):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\settings\text_en\*.txt

Extract `tagsgdx3_uimain.txt` into this directory.

For non-English versions, download the other archive and open the `tagsgdx1_achievements.txt` file (downloaded from https://grimraynbow.com/en/gd/filter) in Windows Notepad.

Paste the text from `red_ty_copy_rainbow.txt` at the very beginning of the file and save it.

Copy the edited `tagsgdx1_achievements.txt` to the appropriate folder; non-English versions require a different subdirectory: `..\Grim Dawn\settings\aom\`.

The file should exist in only one of the two possible locations.

The `\settings\` folder (or the `\text_\` subfolder) might not exist yet, so you may need to create it.

An example of an already edited `tagsgdx1_achievements.txt` for the Russian version is provided.
